Importing and exporting private cars to and from China or within China is a complicated and time consuming process. Restrictions on automobiles:

• We only handle private car transportation within China also into China and out of China.
• Never ship a car as personal car to China unless you are sure the you can get an import permit.
• Returning Chinese citizens cannot import automobiles.
• Foreigners can import one new car per person, but only if a Vehicle Import Permit is approved by Customs Office. The shipper normally needs to have a residence permit and work permit which is valid for more than 365 days. The shipper has to pay import duties.
• Diesel motor cars are not allowed to be imported into China.
• Diplomatic card holder can import one personal car duty free.
• The shipper needs to check with each destination city's Environmental Bureau to see if his/her car can meet local environmental standards. While some types of cars do have problems getting plates, car models listed in the China Compulsory Certificate are generally safe to be imported.
• Please contact us to check if your vehicle can be imported, as some cities in China have different regulations concerning imported motor vehicles and motor cycles.
• Motorcycle is prohibited to be imported into Beijing as personal shipment .
